Generative Agents: Interactive Simulacra of Human Behavior

A paper from earlier this year in which a machine learning research group from Stanford propose the concept of 'Generative Agents' that use ChatGPT to interact each other and while storing a memory of key conversations and living  daily life in their 'village' . Given prompts the agents worked together to organise various activities, including an election and a valetines day party.  ❤️🎉

We introduce generative agents--computational software agents that simulate believable human behavior. Generative agents wake up, cook breakfast, and head to work; artists paint, while authors write; they form opinions, notice each other, and initiate conversations; they remember and reflect on days past as they plan the next day.
